Paradise Beach For Mac
Rated 5 out of 5 by bsumm1 from Please bring out Paradise Beach II I love games that you can play over and over again and that keep challenging you. This has been my experience with Paradise Beach. You can go back and get 5 stars on islands you may have missed the mark on or just play to see what interesting beaches you can make. I also like the additional task of trying to find lost items from the beach visitors. I am hoping that they come out with a follow up to this game! Patiently waiting on Paradise Beach II!
Turtle Beach For Mac
Rated 5 out of 5 by jw322701 from Rollercoaster tycoon on the shoreline! Great game, sort of a simplified version of Rollercoaster Tycoon. Paradise Beach doesn't quite afford the creative liberties that R.C.T. Offers, but the basic concepts remain the same.build a dream park that is beautiful, functional, fiscally efficient, and satisfies the desires of your guests. Build-up six barren islands into dream resorts. Each island has an average of five 10-15-minute levels associated with it.
Level goals range from 'make 300 guests smile' to 'build two 3-star cinemas.' Your island development is progressive within each consecutive level in each island location. This game definitely will appeal to those who enjoy 'tycoon' games and/or enjoy 'designing' or 'building' games. Invloves time-management and multi-tasking.challenging gameplay; but moreover, it's just really fun to make a beautiful resort personalized to your own aesthetic. Rated 5 out of 5 by Justy1002 from Challenging, yet fun It takes more than the trial run to get the hang of this game.
It's a free build, TM, tycoon, strategy game all rolled into one really. You are given goals and it's up to you how to design your beach.
It requires some strategy as to the layout you design in order to raise happiness and build cash, all while trying to beat the clock for a gold star on the level. I must say some of the levels were difficult in obtaining that gold star, but once you get in the swing of things it comes easy. There is a lot going on that you must keep an eye on, but I love that frenzied pace in a game like this. Observing the unhappy customers (by clicking on their frowny faces) clues you in as to what's needed to make them happy. You can hire workers to help keep things repaired, or clean up the trash that accumulates. There is a popup with an alerting sound that let's you know something needs fixing or of someone is drowning, so that's helpful.
The graphics are decent as is the background music, though I normally keep that low in volume. It has a sandbox option which is nice too. Overall, I enjoy this game, though the pace might be too much for some. Rated 5 out of 5 by FORTUNATUS from Gotta try it you'll be in paradise! I was new to the TM genre and this is the game that got me hooked on Strategy games.
At first you will feel out of control and overwhelmed and yet stick it out and before you know it, you'll have learned all the little 'tricks of the trade' that will make YOU a tried and true land developer success. So much fun looking back and seeing what you've developed and the $$$ you are able to make when it all comes together. Check it out. You'll not only create vacation resorts for others in this game, you'll find, as I did, that you'll enjoy developing them as much as a vacation, too!

Paradise Beach is a building simulation game, but it does not depend completely on fast-clicking and construction tasks.
