Best Remote Control For Home Theater
According to a new note by Cantor Fitzgerald analyst Brian White: As an Apple supplier, our contact offered insight into the “iWatch” and described this potential new device as much more than an extension of your iPhone but as a multi-purpose gateway in allowing consumers to control their home (i.e., heating/cooling, lights, audio, video, etc.). What he’s forecasting here is that the iWatch will essentially become a home remote. Apple would sell some sort of MFI certification, and all the Philips Hues and Nest thermostats in the world would be able to be controlled directly from the device on your wrist. It’s an interesting theory, but I don’t see how a smartwatch is better suited to being a home-automation remote than an iPhone. Whatever the iWatch ends up being, it needs to do what it does better than an iPhone can. What do you think?
